Daily Blessing

As we tip-toe into the holiday season, may you do so with a heart at rest and the assurance that God is with you; He delights in every detail of your life. May you refuse the holiday rat race, and instead, embrace the sacred race. Say no to over-indulgence, over-spending, over-commitment, and over-thinking details that in the end, won’t matter that much. Stay present with the ones you love. Get some exercise. Read a good book. Serve the less fortunate. And remember why Jesus came: to seek and save the lost, to destroy the works of the devil, and to work wonders in and through us. Trust His process. Trust His timing. Trust His very real love for you. May this, for you, be a sacred holiday season.
