In those places where you feel like sighing, may Jesus put a new song in your heart. Where you’re weary from holding on, may He give you new courage to stand strong. Just as light dispels the darkness, God’s love obliterates our fears. If you’ve struggled too long in the darkness, if you’ve felt swallowed up by fear, remember God’s love. Believe He loves you even when you suffer. If you are in Christ, life on earth is as bad as it gets. It’ll only get better from here. So for now, take your mighty stand of faith and rely on God’s love. His love will heal and restore you in a way that nothing else can. After you have suffered a while, God Himself will come to your rescue and reestablish you. You can trust Him. I pray you’ll trust Him.
May you determine to travel lighter starting now. May you—with your God-given authority in Christ—demand that the enemy shut his mouth and leave you alone. May you discern the baggage of man-made obligations and lay them down. May you decide to fling aside your own self-condemning thoughts and wrap yourself up in God’s beautiful grace and righteousness instead. And, may you march on from here, full of faith, empowered by grace, and awakened by God’s love, and walk as one who’s been spoken for by God above.
