When emotions threaten to stir you up, may you exhale and be still. When the enemy tries to trip you up, may you step back and be still. When circumstances bring your stress level up, determine to rest, and be still. Wherever there’s soul unrest there’s an opportunity to know the presence and power of God like you’ve not known before. Don’t react. Respond to Him. He’s above all things. May you more deeply know the He is God today.
Ps.46:10 ~ Be still and know that I am God.
God meticulously tends to the details of your life. He’s collected every tear, noted every seed, heard every prayer, and recognized every need. He’s writing a more glorious story than you can imagine! Prayers and offerings you’ve forgotten, He remembers. Dreams you’ve abandoned, He still holds in His heart. He’s better than you know and kinder than you can fathom. And right here, right now, He’s working everything together for your good and for His glory. You can trust Him. We know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. May you embrace great joy and assurance today.
Romans 8:28
May you know—in ever deepening ways—how safe and secure you are in Jesus. In every season, He is still God. In the valley, on the mountain, amidst the not-yet, He is still God. When He gives us what we want and when He doesn’t, He is still God. Since He is all powerful and has no rival, He could be any way He wants to be, yet, He is loving, kind, patient and true. Whether we believe it or not, He will always be God and He loves us dearly. May we give Him the honor He deserves. ❤️

When the storms rage outside and the soul is distressed within, it’s a good time to remember God’s word to you. He’s not forgotten you. He’s not looked away. He already knows the plans He has for you and they are good, good plans. He’s writing a story with your life that—when it’s all said and done—will leave you breathless with awe and wonder. Storms won’t last forever but God’s promises to you will. “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11
If you’ve been holding your breath and clenching your fists, if you find yourself rehearsing your fears and forgetting His promises, may you take a deep breath right now. Inhale His promises and exhale your fears. Picture your loving Savior with a smile in His eyes. Hear Him sing a song over you. Listen to His still small voice within you. Tell your heart to trust Him because He is faithful. His love will swallow up every fear. God bless you. With His love, He will calm all your fears. Have a blessed day.

Maybe you’ve sensed the winds of change starting to blow. Does it stir up fear, the thought of letting go? May you take a deep breath, and remember what you already know about the heart of God: He is good, He is for you, and it’s impossible for Him to fail you. Now exhale your fears and lay hold of faith. That land up ahead is a pleasant land, filled with promise, fresh with purpose. Do not fear change; instead, trust God. He’s only answering your prayers. You can trust Him.
When certain situations pierce your heart, tell your soul, “I’m still in the not-yet. God’s not finished yet. The story’s not over yet. God is working ways I cannot see. My faith will be my substance and my evidence, my proof that I believe in Almighty God who daily establishes His purposes for me. If I don’t have it yet, it’s because I’m not ready for it yet. God, make me ready. Prepare my heart. Teach me what I need to know.” And then, in the meantime, look around, and thank Him for the right-nows, the parts of your story where you’ve seen God handiwork and experienced His faithfulness. Remember His goodness. Rely on His love. Trust that He is faithful. He’ll help you stay the course, keep the faith, and preserve to your next place of promise.
May you be honest with God about the hurts in your heart. May you discern the difference between grief and self-pity. May you be okay with not always being okay. God will one day wipe away every tear from your eyes, but until then, He wants to help you walk this journey with peace in your heart and assurance in your soul. He is with you. He will heal you. And He will one day turn your mourning into dancing and your sorrow into songs of joy. In the meantime, enjoy the little graces you find along the way. Celebrate the small victories. Dare to dream.
