May God give you absolute clarity and divine discernment so you can see things as they are, and not as they seem. May He keep you far from accusing tongues and protect you from being wrongly assessed. May you have the backbone and conviction to stand up for what is true and to stand back when God wants to fight for you. May God give you laser-like focus to tend to your God-given assignment. May He grant you empowering grace to flourish where He has placed you. May your pure heart and firm faith keep you steady on the path ahead of you. These things are yours because you belong to Him.

When life takes a sudden turn or when the storms shake the ground beneath us, we quickly see how tightly we’re clinging to things that were never meant to anchor us. We instinctively panic because we don’t want to lose the thing we’re white-knuckling; but, dear one, the Prince of Peace is on the scene. He is with you. He reaches for you. He speaks peace to your soul and healing to your heart. You need Him more than your desires and He holds you more firmly than your fears hold you. Try letting go. Try trusting Him here.
