A Sacred Pace

Daily Blessing

By God’s grace, may you eliminate hurry and worry from your life. May you instead slow your pace and turn your face to the One who loves, saves, redeems, and restores everything about you. Instead of grabbing for yourself, may you pause and wait and see how God provides and cares for you. May you enter into a new season where you know God’s rest, His pace, and His provision like you’ve never know before. He’s for you and with you in ways you can’t even imagine!

May God orchestrate your life, arrange your circumstances, and direct you toward healing and wholeness. May He show you what you need in this season of life. (Rest? Deeper Friendships? A Mentor? A Better Diet? Exercise?) May He motivate and inspire you to take the necessary next steps. May you look to Him to guide and provide, to correct and redirect. Jesus cares about your life, your health, and your sense of well being. He has wisdom for your todays and tomorrows. Trust Him. Follow Him. He will restore and replenish you.

He’s Your Defender

God is your Defender even when you don’t know you need defending. He’s your Deliverer even when you don’t know you’re stuck. He’s your Provider even when you don’t acknowledge Him as so. You don’t have to remind Him to be God for Him to be a Father to you. But when you look up and realize how utterly involved and interested He is in your life, it’ll heal your heart and sturdy your steps. May you come into a new awareness of God’s tangible work in your life. May you notice His handiwork every which way you turn. And may your grateful heart be a love-song back to Him. He’s so good and He loves you in ways immeasurable.

Maybe you’ve been in the winter season for far too long. You wonder if it’ll ever end. You wonder if springtime will happen for everybody but you. But here’s what’s true: Even now, there are little sprouts underground, coming to life, ready to break through. Those are your seeds that you planted and that God watered. You can’t see them but they’re there. In due time, the sun will shine, the cold will pass, and life will break through the hardened soil of this season. I know you’re tired but don’t give up hope. May you speak life over your life, starting today. Speak to your mountains and tell them to move in Jesus’ Name! Speak to your fears and tell them that Jesus’ love is perfect is greater still.
