Time for Reflection

Daily Blessing

May you have the presence of mind to cherish every second with the ones you love. May you make time for fun, for rest, and for reflection. May you plan time in your schedule not to have plans, and see what happens. May you come to know–on a whole new level–that much more rests on God’s shoulders than on yours. And may you learn to enjoy the journey because His yoke is easy and His burden is light. And He’s crazy in love with you. Have a wonderful, replenishing weekend.

Daily Blessing

Here’s what’s true: If the devil can get you to doubt God’s provision, you’ll grab for yourself and miss the wonder of God’s goodness. If the devil can get you to doubt your worth, you’ll strive to prove yourself and miss the gift of God’s assurance and rest. If the devil can get you to doubt God’s timing, you’ll rush ahead and miss the wisdom of His ways. We grow deep and wise when we trust Him fully. And yet, and yet, if we miss God and we mess up, we can know that a plan is already in motion to redeem our story. We won’t get it right all of the time. But praise God; Jesus will never get it wrong on our behalf. We can trust Him. Rest tonight knowing that God is on your side. He guards and He guides. He’ll always provide. He sees you. He loves you. You can trust Him.

Daily Blessing

When you’re in Christ, you’re secure even when your feelings tell you otherwise. You don’t have to feel well to be strong and courageous. You don’t have to feel bold to be brave. You don’t have to feel accepted to live loved. You don’t have to feel faith for your faith to be real. And you don’t have to feel God’s presence for Him to be near. He’s closer than your next breath and He lives mightily in you! He pulled out a chair and gave you a place at the table of grace. God is always near and you are always loved no matter how you feel. You’ve seen too much to turn back now. Keep marching onward and have a faith-filled day!

Daily Blessing

May Jesus give you the grit to persevere when your Promised Land depends on it. May He give you tenderness to forgive when relationships are strained. May He give you compassion to lovingly see those whom He’s given you to love. May He give you faith to believe that miracles still happen our day. May you refuse to run away just because something feels uncomfortable. May you refuse to dig in your heels just because risk feels too scary. There’s a time to stay firmly planted and a time to step into the unknown. Both require faith. Your Good Shepherd will faithfully lead you every step of the way. Stay in step with Him.

Daily Blessing

Sometimes the well dries up before God fills it again. Sometimes the waters overwhelm us before they part before us. If you’re in over your head, out of options, and can’t see a way through, do not fret! Instead, remember what you know about God. He is good. He is faithful. And He’s the master of the miraculous breakthrough. Do not fixate on your problem, fix your eyes on the One who promised never to leave you or forsake you. This is a time for great faith. May faith arise! God bless you!

Easter Blessing

Daily Blessing

Jesus was a man of sorrows, a friend of sinners, and the One who came to save the world. He bore our sin and made us His heirs. He took the blame and cleared our name. Whatever your past sins, whatever your losses, whatever your hurts, whatever you’ve been through, remember today that your Redeemer is greater still. Jesus obliterated the enemy’s power to destroy your life. He can try, but he’ll never succeed. You’re forgiven. You’re loved. And You’re redeemed. You’re on your way to a brilliant eternity you cannot imagine and there’s nothing the enemy can do about it. Death has given way to life. Victory has a Name and it’s Jesus! Resurrection power is alive in you! Easter blessings to you this weekend!

Daily Blessing

Maybe you’ve sensed the winds of change starting to blow. Does it stir up fear, the thought of letting go? May you take a deep breath, and remember what you already know about the heart of God: He is good, He is for you, and it’s impossible for Him to fail you. Now exhale your fears and lay hold of faith. That land up ahead is a pleasant land, filled with promise, fresh with purpose. Do not fear change; instead, trust God. He’s only answering your prayers. You can trust Him.

Daily Blessing

As you walk intimately with Jesus, may faith feel as natural to you as breathing in and breathing out. As you pause throughout the day to look at the sky, to notice a child, or to help someone in need, may you remember that you belong to Creator God. He made you for a purpose and placed you on this earth for such a time as this. May He fill you afresh this day with the wonder of His love, the power of His Spirit, and the strength of His heart. He loves how He made you! Walk with joyful, humble, bold confidence today!

Daily Blessing

When you feel wrongly assessed, may you remember that Jesus is your Great Defender. When you feel misjudged, may you remember that Jesus is your Great Vindicator. When you feel insecure about your weaknesses, may you remember that Jesus knew exactly who He was getting when He saved you, and He LOVES you! When you’re tempted to focus too much on what’s wrong in you and all around you, may you have the will to look up and rejoice for all that’s right in your world. God has done amazing things in your life. He’s made you a masterpiece. And He’s just getting started! Your story is far from over.

Faith and Expectancy

Daily Blessing

May you step back today and give time and space to consider this truth: No circumstance, no enemy, no opposition can keep you from God’s best purpose for you! Your unbelief is the only roadblock you have to deal with. God can do in a moment what takes us years to accomplish. Consider afresh what impossible things Jesus wants to do in and through you. Kneel, if you can. Open your hands. Look past your frustrations and consider His promises. As the day progresses, may Jesus find faith and expectancy in your heart. And may He download fresh insights tonight while you sleep. Bless you!
