May your emotions find rest in God alone while you wait for Him to answer your prayers. May you dare to sing a new song even when sighing feels easier to do. May you slow down and sit down for a while, just for the sake of rest and reflection. And when you get up again, may you find new resolve to stand firmly on God’s promises and to walk forward in faith. If you take one humble, bold step at a time, you’ll eventually put your toes on your promised land.
May you be mindful to pause regularly and reflect on the many ways God has come through for you. This will strengthen your heart. And, may you cultivate a heart that knows how to rest in God alone. This will nourish your soul. As you look to Jesus, and remember His faithfulness, your whole countenance will change, and others will be reminded that there’s a God in heaven very much involved in their own lives. He intends to get us safely home. But don’t wait ’till then to find rest in Him. Embrace a heart-at-rest kind of day.
May you refuse to connect the dots on your painful experiences and thus draw a wrong conclusion about yourself and God. May you instead be hemmed in by God’s powerful promises; and may you be defined by His very personal love for you. May you refuse to let your past speak to you, except to teach you. And may you insist on living as one who has a redemptive story to tell. You’re THAT important to God’s Kingdom story. Walk assured today. God is with you.
May God open the eyes of your heart to see the blessing in your battles. May He fine tune your listening ear that you may His voice above all others. May He give you a heart of faith to cling to His promises instead of your fears. May you refuse to live beneath your spiritual privilege and instead, live the other-worldly life He’s offered you. May you cup your ear toward heaven and listen to Jesus’ song over you, for it’s healing, redemptive, and life-giving. May God lead you beside still waters and provide rest for your weary soul. May He set you right where you’re thinking wrong. May He give you faith to embrace the YOU He’s making you to be. And may He give you wisdom to stand and fight when your promised land depends on it. You have everything you need in Him. May God’s rich blessings be yours this day!
May you open your hands and entrust your cares to God. Right this minute. Know this: Jesus knows your name, has your address, and loves who you are. He will get you where you need to go. He will reach out to the ones you love. He will validate and vindicate you at the proper time. May you see and believe that you’re safest when you’re at His feet, trusting Him to do what you cannot do for yourself. May your soul find rest in Him today.
May you dare to believe that God is moving in your life, because He is. He makes all things new. And He intends to dismantle the schemes of the enemy. Will you trust Him?
